466 Redundant industrial legacy meets an English green and modern dream

I love trains, believe in public transport, marvel at green the life which is determined to grow between the lines and can stay untouched. Even on London undergrounds, nature permeates,  but OH BUT, I truly hate a wasted resource -redundant land, redundant industrial waste – that is not heritage.

For Birmingham, I would love to make this unused platform truly electric, a floral legacy,  the scenic route for bystanders to enjoy and contemplate and dream upon whilst arriving, departing waiting and especially delays. Forget the useless headlines on the daily free papers, allow for the spirit to be transformed in seconds – let that be a platform.

The green grass of home calls between the rails…..maybe those tracks can look something like this or at least something amazing. It’s so easy to plant life and make us all feel so much more invigoratedin our urban environments, especially when there are no trains stopping by.
